Winners of all-Ukrainian architecture contest ARCHIHIT announced at InterBuildExpo 2015
At InterBuildExpo 2015, official ceremony of awarding prizes to the winners of the all-Ukrainian architecture contest ARCHIHIT was held. The contest winners will have an opportunity to go to Milan for the course of extended studies Poli.Design at Politechnico di Milano.
The ARCHIHIT contest was organized by Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ltd. supported by Onduline Construction Materials TOV, KERAMA MARAZZI, MAPEI and in partnership with the National Architects Union of Ukraine.
Participants of the ARCHIHIT 2015 contest were offered to consider two Ukrainian towns – Zbarazh and Zolochiv, historic districts of which would become objects for revitalization in order to create a recreational and tourist center.
Professional jury of the contest in 2015 consisted of:
- Oleksandr B. Yarema, Honored Architect of Ukraine, chairman of Lviv branch of National Architects Union of Ukraine, jury chairman
- Oleh M. Sydorovych, deputy mayor of Zolochiv
- Yurii Ya. Karpovych, director of RBK Pektoral
- Viktor M. Likhno, architect (National Architects Union of Ukraine)
- Oleksandr M. Baranovskyi, project coordinator (National Architects Union of Ukraine)
- Olha Afonina, director of Onduline Construction Materials Ukraine
- Vitalii H. Kubai, commercial director at KERAMA MARAZZI
- Valentyna H. Naumenko, marketing director at MAPEI Ukraine
Oleg P. Koval, general director of Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ltd. congratulated the guests and partners of the ARCHIHIT contest with its successful finish and continued: “It is a pleasure to underline that a lot of events for architects are held at the exhibition. Today, seminars from chief architects of Kyiv and Lviv are held, as well as from other famous persons of the world of architecture. We are happy with this and for the coming year we plan to hold a special day for architects, during which different specialized events like seminars, round tables, presentation would be held.
