The second all-Ukrainian contest “Architecture award ARCHIHIT” launches
On the second day of the exhibition the press conference devoted to the launch of the 2nd all-Ukrainian contest “Architecture award ARCHIHIT” was held.
The task of the Contest is to reveal the tendencies of revalorization of the urban environment, selection of the best projects and promotion of architects who develop environmental approach in projecting.
The contest to be held in 2015 will offer two Ukrainian cities – Lviv and Zolochiv, historical city blocks of which will become reconstructed aiming at creation of recreation and tourism center. Contest project-concepts can become the basis of the real offers for investors.
The organizer of the contest is Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ltd.; co-organizers are the National Architects Union of Ukraine, the editors of the A+C magazine and the partners of the contest – Onduline Construction Materials and Kerama Marazzi.
Andrii Pietukhov, director of the Comfort House and the InterBuildExpo exhibitions, greeted everyone on the occasion of the contest start and invited everybody to participate in the contest in 2015: “Today we are announcing the launch of the Archihit contest and would like to invite professionals interested in promotion of their works and increase of their own brands awareness at the state level”.
In the press conference the following representative of the contest co-organizers participated: Vitalii Lomakin, director of Onduline Construction Materials, TOV; Vitalii Kubai, commercial director of the Kerama Marazzi company; Borys Yerofalov, editor in chief of the A+C magazine; Oleksandr Baranovskyi, National Architects Union of Ukraine.
At the website the registration of participants will be held, accompanied by the project news. Professional jury, on top of the top management of the companies Onduline Construciton Materials, Kerama Marazzi, National Architects Union of Ukraine, the A+C magazine and Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ltd., will feature representatives of Lviv regional organization of the National Architects Union of Ukraine.
The winners of the Contest will be provided with grants for visits to Italy and undergoing professional training there. The best projects of the finalists will be recommended by the organizers for further realization and for promotion of environmental approach in architecture.
The contest final where winners will be announced and awarded will be held at the InterBuildExpo 2015 exhibition from the 25th till the 28th of March 2015 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
