INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION EXHIBITION INTERBUILDEXPO 2016, MAJOR SECTOR EVENT OF THE YEAR, OPEN!
On the 23rd of March 2016 in hall 1 of the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center the official opening of the main industry event of Ukraine – the 31st edition of the InterBuildExpo international construction exhibition was held!
The InterBuildExpo exhibition is the most important professional forum in the sphere of construction and architecture, interior design, projecting, repair and landscape design!
The InterBuildExpo exhibition is organized by Kyiv International Contract Fair, the leader of exhibition business in Ukraine.
The international construction exhibition InterBuildExpo 2016 is held under support of:
Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine;
Construction Chamber of Ukraine;
Association of Ceramics Manufacturers, Exporters and Importers of Ukraine;
Ukrainian Building Community (UBC).
Among the guests of the official opening ceremony of the InterBuildExpo 2016 exhibition were:
- Dmytro Y. Andriievskyi, deputy head of the committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on construction, city planning and communal living;
- Maksym A. Malashkin, deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine, secretary general;
- Petro S. Shyliuk, president of Construction Chamber of Ukraine;
- Valentin V. Velichko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine;
- Haydar Koçak, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Turkey in Ukraine and other officials.
Volodymyr A. Ivanov, chairman of the Board of Kyiv International Contract Fair, started the official ceremony:
“We express our gratitude to our partners, co-organizers and guests of the exhibition: the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine, Construction Chamber of Ukraine, Association of Ceramics Manufacturers, Exporters and Importers of Ukraine and Ukrainian Building Community (UBC), collective organizer from Turkey – Senexpo International Fairs. At the present exhibition, all directions of construction complex are represented. It serves as a traditional meeting place for customers, subcontractors and suppliers of construction materials and services. In the 2016 edition of the show, over 500 companies from 10 foreign countries participate, along with the representatives of practically all regions of Ukraine. Turkey is represented with the National Pavilion. We wish all of you fruitful work at the exhibition, broadening of your business relations, strengthening of image and positions on Ukrainian market and useful experience exchange”, - Volodymyr A. Ivanov said in his speech to the guests of the exhibition.
“I am very pleased to welcome the opening of this powerful construction and investment forum in the name of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. I would like to say that today the construction industry is facing extremely important and difficult tasks. We all understand that well-being of Ukrainiand and our economy development depend on this industry. Now the main stress in made on attraction of both internal and external investments into this sphere. We see this direction as the main priority of our dedicated committee’s work, the same being true about our Ministry, too. One more direction of activities of the Verkhovna Rada is the matter of decentralization. I would like to add some information about the important investment project, in which the Government of Ukraine participates. It is reconstruction of Bortnychi aeration station, financed by the Government of Japan. At present, the corresponding documents have been signed already for the investment of more than 1 billion USD. Now, the Government of Ukraine finances the preparation works. Next year we expect to conduct tenders, and now large consortiums have already been created for participation in realization of this project. I am sure that it will become an important push towards development of construction sector of Ukraine”, Dmytro Y. Andriievskyi underlined.“I would like to congratulate everyone with opening of this powerful event and wish all of us success and victories”.
“It is my pleasure to greet everyone in the name of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine and in the name of Vice Prime Minister Hennadii Zubko on the occasion of opening of such an important forum, which is one of the largest ones and the only event uniting all sectors, be it construction, architecture, construction materials or equipment. Under such difficult economic conditions, we are delighted to see that construction industry has been preserving its tempo it has gained. This exhibition demonstrates that construction community continues developing and offering us certain innovations and new technologies. We owe this to our constructors, designers, manufacturers that are searching for and attracting investments notwithstanding the difficult conditions. Presence of international companies proves that Ukrainian market is open and it is interesting to international investments.

InterBuildExpo is the main meeting platform and the place for running construction business. It is an especially important event for Ukraine’s economy development.
