Marathon of Projects – unique format for realizing business opportunities

On October, 6 in the frames of the international expoforum Building, Architecture, Real Estate the Marathon of Projects started, a unique event, professional communication platform for representatives of all segments of construction industry.

Organizers: Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine, Construction Chamber of Ukraine, National Architects Union of Ukraine.

Among the Marathon’s participants were architects, developers, manufacturers of construction materials and service providers. The large audience witnessed non-stop presentations of the most famous architects, heads of the largest projecting bureaus and construction organizations.

The Marathon will run for 2 days and consist of a series of short presentations of experts.

Day 1

Volodymyr Husakov, President of National Architects Union of Ukraine, delivered a greeting speech, in which he expressed gratitude to the event organizers and wished the Marathon participants successful work.

Marathon in details:

• Oleksandr Svystunov, chief architect of Kyiv city: “Thanks to such events, we understand the directions to move and develop further. Today, there is a task to define the exact limits of Kyiv and establish recreational zones not only in Kyiv, but in the suburbs as well".
• Oleksandr Izarov, chief architect at New Sigma Development: “The city dictates its rules and standards. We have developed our own Living Code, which consists of design code and dress code. Our residential units offer the public a chance to choose the most appropriate variant.”
• Volodymyr Mudrak, head of applied technics department, direction Solutions for Window Industry at REHAU, on possibilities of reinforced plastic windows of large size, modern portal systems.
• Andrii Pashenko, creative architectural workshop “A. Pashenko” on good developers and customers: “If I come and get to love the projects, I can spend money on it”. “Now we are projecting 1 million sq.m”
• Yuliia Svetenko, head of trade house “Proletarii” on digital ceramic printing on glass – innovation in global architecture that would allow preserving translucency and color of glass.
• Yevhenii Horodylov, deputy director of KP “Zhytlobudinvest – UKB”: “At present, with every new project the attitude towards additional social objects is changing for the better, taking into account the fact that social objects are not profitable enough”
• Denys Radiuk, chairman of the board, director of GreenClinic LifeScience Global OU (Estonia) on preserving recreational preciousness of objects, namely visual advantages and recreational qualities.
• Serhii Drovynskyi, chief architect at Hiprotsyvilprombud, PAT on an example of concept of a residential complex in Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv city.
