“I believe today any positive propaganda is necessary or the construction industry, as our constructors are very open people and have lots to show, while people need to see their achievements. We are very pleased that this exhibition brings up the important topic of energy efficiency, as the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine has got direct relation to this topic. I would like to say now very much is being done in Ukraine in order to modernize the country and make it energy efficient and energy independent. We understand that energy efficiency is a part of energy independence. Our goal is to decrease consumption of natural gas and mined sources of energy. At present there are certain government programs concerning compensation of a part of expenses on heating insulation of buildings. This program is an unprecedented step that has been approved by the public and the companies offering procedures for energy efficiency.

Now, all constructors of Ukraine need to get united and attract the whole scientific potential and the Ministry to their work. Today I would like to assess the extent, to which our national architects and constructors are ready to compete with the international companies.”
